December 18, 2020 Podcast Interview: Victor Adair on “This Week in Money”

The “Market Expert Interview” has evolved. In the 1980s Jack Schwager’s Market Wizards and Intermarket Magazine were about the only way to access interviews with successful traders.

Getting market experts on TV and radio talk shows was a step forward in terms of timeliness but having to constantly “break for commercial” weakened the format.

I remember experimenting with video formats in the early Internet days around 2000 but our project never got off the ground because we couldn’t sync the audio with the video!

These days, with everybody so jammed for time, the podcast format allows us to “fit in” a listen with market experts while we’re on the road or walking the dog.

In 2013 Grant Williams told me about Real Vision TV. The concept was to have a subscription service offering in-depth video interviews with great traders/investors, no commercials, and available on demand. I loved the concept and became a Founding member.
